Christian Matijas Mecca is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, with affiliations to the Center for Russian, East European, & Eurasian Studies (CREES) and the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia (WCEE). His expertise spans piano and harpsichord performance, dance reconstruction/restaging, and research on George Balanchine's ballets of Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky.
