Christian Legler, Ph.D., is a Special Projects Manager and Coordinator for the Special Education MSE and Teaching MAT programs at Wayne State College's School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. He is actively involved in institutional committees, including the Teaching and Learning Technology Committee and the Professional Progress Committee, and serves as the Education Career Pathways Faculty Liaison. A member of the Association of Teacher Educators and the Rotary Club of Wayne, Dr. Legler combines academic leadership with community engagement.

Before joining Wayne State College in 2017, Dr. Legler spent eight years in the nonprofit sector and eight years teaching science and social studies at William M. Raines High School in Jacksonville, Florida. His academic interests focus on mentoring, technology integration in teacher preparation, and professional development, with recent research examining Wayne State College’s education career pathway partnership programs. He has presented at multiple state and national conferences, advancing discourse in teacher education.
Dr. Legler’s work emphasizes practical applications of technology in pedagogy and collaborative partnerships in educational systems. His roles bridge administrative leadership with classroom innovation, reflecting a commitment to enhancing educator training through interdisciplinary approaches.
