Christian Langpap is a Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at Oregon State University's College of Agricultural Sciences. His research focuses on environmental and natural resource economics, with a particular emphasis on endangered species conservation, environmental public goods, nonprofit organizations, and agricultural policy impacts.

Langpap investigates economic incentives for conservation on private lands, the role of litigation in environmental policy, and the effects of agricultural and biofuel policies on ecosystems.
