Christian Kazner

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Kazner holds the Professorship for Urban Water Management and Environment at Bochum University of Applied Sciences. He leads the Laboratory for Urban Water Management and serves as a key figure in the Institute for Water and Environment. His work focuses on international collaboration, particularly in European-Indian water projects like PAVITRA GANGA and INADE.

His research spans water reclamation technologies, membrane processes, and micropollutant removal, with applications in groundwater remediation, pharmaceutical contaminant elimination, and climate change adaptation. His publications emphasize Nanofiltration, Forward Osmosis, and Managed Aquifer Recharge systems.
