Christian Hof

Prof. Dr. Christian Hof is a Chair Holder in the Department of Global Change Ecology at the University of Würzburg. His research focuses on biodiversity responses to climate change, species distribution modeling, and macroecological patterns. He holds a PhD from the University of Copenhagen (2010) and has held roles including Junior Research Group Leader at the Technical University of Munich (2018–2023) and Guest Scientist at Senckenberg BiK-F. Key affiliations include the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and the German Young Academy.
