Christian Grommes

Christian Grommes, MD serves as an Associate Attending physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) with an academic appointment as Clinical Associate Professor. He is a core member of The Ingo Mellinghoff Lab, focusing on neuro-oncology research and clinical care for brain tumor patients.

His research spans neuro-oncology, brain tumor biology, and translational therapeutics, with emphasis on developing novel clinical trial frameworks. Dr. Grommes maintains active industry collaborations with pharmaceutical leaders including Roche, Curis, Kyowa Kirin, and Ono Pharma for professional services in cancer drug development.

Current clinical and research activities are centered at MSKCC's neuro-oncology division, where he contributes to patient care through specialized brain tumor treatment protocols. His work integrates molecular diagnostics with targeted therapy approaches for malignant gliomas and other central nervous system cancers.
