معرفی
Christian Drischler is a Junior Researcher at Ohio University's Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (since 2022). Previously, he held postdoctoral positions at Michigan State University (2020–2022) and the University of California, Berkeley (2017–2020). He completed his PhD under the supervision of Achim Schwenk. His research focuses on the nuclear equation of state, neutron star physics, chiral effective field theory, and computational emulators for nuclear reactions.
Key research interests include constraining dense matter properties using Bayesian models, exploring the interplay between nuclear theory and astrophysical observations, and developing efficient computational methods for nuclear physics. His work often involves collaborations such as the MUSES Collaboration, which addresses dense matter theory.
Recent publications emphasize the development of tools like nucleardatapy for accessing nuclear data and analyzing neutron star structure through advanced statistical frameworks. Drischler’s contributions bridge microscopic nuclear theory with macroscopic astrophysical phenomena, particularly in understanding extreme conditions in neutron stars and heavy-ion collisions.
