Christian Diestel

Dr. Christian Diestel is a researcher at the Cluster of Excellence livMatS @ FIT, University of Freiburg, focusing on photovoltaic energy conversion and storage. His work centers on developing monolithic devices integrating solar cells with energy storage components like supercapacitors and batteries. Key projects include the development of perovskite- and silicon-based photosupercapacitors, with collaborators such as Dr. Taisiia Berestok and Dr. Jan Christoph Goldschmidt.
