Christian Bumke

Professor Christian Bumke holds the Commerzbank Foundation Chair Fundamentals of Law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany. His research focuses on reconstructing legal thinking in 19th-20th century Germany, with emphasis on fundamental issues of public law, administrative law, case law, and private rule-making.
