Dr. Christian Bielefeldt is a Lecturer at the Musicological Seminar of the University of Basel since 2019. He studied musicology, German studies, and music education in Hamburg, and his career includes roles as a research associate at the University of Lüneburg (2004–2007) and head of the music department at Atelierschule Zürich (2007–2021). He participated in the DFG project "Voice and Singing in Popular Music of the USA, 1900–1960" at the University of Music Weimar in 2014.
