Christian Bellak

Christian Bellak is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business. His research focuses on Microeconomics and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), examining tax policies, bilateral investment agreements, and their impact on multinational companies.

He has published extensively on topics like FDI determinants in Central/East Europe, Brazil's investment treaties, and China's free trade zones. His work explores economic power dynamics in Austria and behavioral economics, with a 2025 study on China's pilot free trade zones and 2024 analyses of Brazilian agreements.
