Christi Gramling is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Charleston Southern University (CSU), where she has taught since 2012. Her academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree in English from Ohio University, followed by a master’s in government and public policy and a JD from Regent University. With a diverse professional background spanning legal practice and federal service at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Gramling transitioned to academia after discovering her passion for teaching through a summer course in 2007.

Research Focus: Gramling specializes in political science with emphasis on international relations, conflict resolution, and African studies. She also served as a faculty advisor for the National Youth Leadership Forum and maintains memberships in multiple academic associations.
