Christa Dürscheid is a Professor for German Linguistics at the University of Zurich, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the Department of German Studies. Her work focuses on digital communication, linguistic variation, writing systems, and language education.
- Research Interests: Computer-mediated communication, variational linguistics, grapholinguistics, and didactics of language.
- Projects: Involved in the project 'Mourning Practices on the Internet' as part of the Digital Society Initiative (DSI) at the University of Zurich.
