Chris Warnick

Chris Warnick is a Professor and Director of Writing, Rhetoric, and Publication at the College of Charleston. His work focuses on composition pedagogy, literacy studies, and writing program administration, alongside editorial roles for the journal Literacy in Composition Studies.

• Education: Ph.D. in English (University of Pittsburgh), M.A. in English (University of Pittsburgh), B.A. in English (Ohio State University)

Research spans editing/publishing, writing program administration, composition theory, and literacy history. Recent publications analyze academic publishing processes and transitions in writing program leadership. He directs the Writing, Rhetoric, and Publication program and coordinates the first-year writing curriculum.
