Chris Turney is an Adjunct Professor of Climate Change and Earth Science at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), affiliated with the School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences. He holds leadership roles as Director of the Earth and Sustainability Science Research Centre (ESSRC), Director of the Chronos 14Carbon-Cycle Facility, and UNSW Node Director of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Australian Biodiversity and Heritage (CABAH). His research focuses on paleoclimatology, radiocarbon dating, and anthropogenic environmental impacts.
