Chris Tillman is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, University of Manitoba. His research spans metaphysics, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of art.

Research Interests: Tillman explores the nature of existence, structured propositions, truth in serial fiction, and materialist theories of musical works. He investigates how entities like fictional characters and mathematical objects relate to their origins and manifestations.
Notable Publications: He co-authored The Routledge Handbook of Propositions (2023), analyzed the metaphysics of fictional realism in Creature Features (2024), and challenged theories of parthood in Propositions and Parthood (2012).
