Chris Steyaert

Chris Steyaert is a Full Professor of Organizational Psychology at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), affiliated with the Department of Organizational Psychology (OPSY-HSG). He holds a PhD and has held academic roles across Europe, including positions at Stockholm's Entrepreneurship and Small Business Research Institute and Copenhagen Business School. His research focuses on creativity in entrepreneurship, innovation, diversity processes, and qualitative methodologies in multinationals. He has served on editorial boards for journals like Organization and Entrepreneurship and Regional Development.

Research Interests: His work integrates theoretical and methodological innovations, exploring how creativity is organized in entrepreneurial contexts, dialogical processes of diversity, and experiential learning. He emphasizes qualitative approaches, including writing and performing research as creative practices. His studies often address urban innovation ecosystems and cross-cultural communication in multinational corporations.
