Chris Murphy is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Swarthmore College, previously serving at University of Pennsylvania and Bryn Mawr College. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University (testing specialization) and a BS in Computer Engineering from Boston University. His research focuses on student mental health in CS education, DEI initiatives, and software engineering pedagogy.
