Professor Chris McNeill is a leading academic in Materials Science and Engineering at Monash University, holding positions such as ARC Future Fellow and VESKI Innovation Fellow. He specializes in organic semiconductors, perovskite solar cells, and synchrotron-based X-ray techniques. His research bridges device physics and microstructure analysis, focusing on solution-processed semiconductors.
Education: PhD in Experimental Physics from the University of Newcastle, followed by postdoctoral work at the University of Cambridge as an EPSRC Advanced Research Fellow. Joined Monash in 2011, progressing to Full Professor in 2018. Recognized as a Fellow of both the Institute of Physics (UK) and the Australian Institute of Physics.
