Dr Chris McAdam is a Lecturer in the Accounting, Finance, and Economics Department at the Hull University Business School (HUBS), part of the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics at the University of Hull. He holds a PhD in Finance alongside qualifications including BSc, MSc, PGCAP, and FHEA. His research focuses on Behavioral Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions, with a recent publication analyzing investor compensation dynamics in Australian company takeovers. McAdam teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including 'Introduction to Finance' and 'Financial Markets and Financial Technologies,' and supervises PhD students in his research areas. He also serves as an ad hoc referee for the Journal of Development Economics and Finance and the Australian Research Council (ARC).
Research Interests: Behavioral Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Markets Analysis, Institutional Investor Strategies.
Teaching: Leads 'Introduction to Finance' (Undergraduate) and 'Financial Markets and Financial Technologies' (Postgraduate).
