Chris L. Welle

Chris L. Welle, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He specializes in abdominal imaging, with a focus on hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal MRI, CT-guided procedures, and ultrasound interventions. Dr. Welle completed his MD at Creighton University and residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Body Imaging and Intervention at Mayo Clinic.

His research interests include MRI advancements for liver fibrosis, cholangiocarcinoma detection, and non-invasive diagnostic techniques.
