Chris Heckman

Chris Heckman is a Professor at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, serving as Director of the Graduate Composition for Film and Visual Media program within the School of Music. A UNCSA alumnus, he transitioned the film music program from the School of Filmmaking to the School of Music in 2023, fostering collaboration between composition programs and enhancing alumni networking.
