Dr. Chris Hadjichrysanthou is an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at the University of Sussex, affiliated with the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from City, University of London, and a B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Crete. His research focuses on mathematical modeling of infectious diseases, Alzheimer’s progression, and evolutionary dynamics. He has conducted research at Imperial College London and the University of Liverpool, and has been involved in projects funded by institutions like Janssen Vaccines & Prevention and MRC-DPUK. His work includes developing computational tools for clinical trial design, viral dynamics modeling, and intervention strategies against emerging infections.
