Chris Gissendanner

Chris Gissendanner is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University Shreveport (LSUS), where he has served since 2023. He holds a PhD in Cellular Biology (University of Georgia, 2021) and an MS and BS in the same field. His research focuses on bacteriophage discovery and characterization for undergraduate education and phage therapy development.
