Dr. Chris Gaviglio is a Lecturer in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Southern Queensland. His expertise spans applied sports science, focusing on blood flow restriction training, passive heat maintenance, warm-up strategies, and power/strength development. With over 25 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach in elite sports, he has worked with professional teams like Bath Rugby, Queensland Maroons, Brisbane Broncos, Wallabies Rugby Union, and Gold Coast SUNS AFL team. He also collaborates with Olympians Cedric Dubler (Decathlon) and Jacqui Naracott (Skeleton), the latter earning Australia’s first Winter Olympic sliding medal in 2022.
