Chris Flood

Professor Chris Flood serves as Professor of Healthcare Practice at London South Bank University's School of Health and Social Care, holding a joint appointment with Central London Community Health Care Trust. His work focuses on developing research capacity across higher education, NHS, and industry sectors, exemplified by leadership in the REACT Innovations centre which integrates clinical colleagues, health services researchers, and engineers.

His educational background includes a PhD in Mental Health (2008-2012), MSc in Economic Evaluation and Quantitative Methods in Health Care (2000-2002), and Technology Enabled Academic Practice certification (2016). Career progression shows advancement from Lecturer (2006-2010) to Senior Lecturer (2010-2019) at City University of London, then Associate Professor (2019-2021) before achieving Professorship at LSBU.

Research interests center on health economics methodologies applied to AI-driven healthcare systems, with particular expertise in designing economic evaluations for clinical trials. His work spans
