Chris Dockery

Dr. Chris Dockery is a Professor of Chemistry at Kennesaw State University's Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Science and Mathematics. Since 2022, he has served as Faculty Director of General Education and previously held leadership roles including Interim Chair (2022-2024) and Assistant Department Chair (2011-2022). His research focuses on forensic chemistry with emphasis on gunshot residue analysis using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), chemometrics, and environmental applications.
