Chris Chimwayange

Dr. Chris Chimwayange is a Lecturer in Design and Technology Education at UniSA Education Futures, with affiliations to the Centre for Research and Social Inclusion (CRESI) and the Centre for Change and Complexity in Learning (C3L). He holds a PhD in Education from Massey University (New Zealand), where he contributed to collaborative research projects focused on secondary school learning dynamics. His work emphasizes addressing educational marginalization through innovative pedagogical approaches like the Project-Based Learning as Service-Based Skills Development (PBL-SBSD) model, which has demonstrated success in re-engaging disengaged students in low-socioeconomic settings. His research also examines socio-political dynamics in Zimbabwe through postcolonial theory.
