Chris Adamo serves as an Adjunct Faculty at Vermont Law School while holding the position of Vice President for Federal and Industry Affairs at Danone North America, where he advances corporate social and environmental responsibility. His distinguished career includes pivotal roles in federal policymaking, notably as Chief of Staff for President Obama's White House Council on Environmental Quality (2015-2017) and Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry (2011-2015).
His educational background includes:

Adamo's expertise centers on Food Law and Policy, Agricultural Policy, and Environmental Law, with significant contributions to landmark legislation including the 2007 energy bill, 2008 and 2014 Farm Bills, and climate change initiatives. His work consistently bridges sustainable agriculture, conservation, and nutrition policy through legislative and corporate channels.
