Chloe Bonamici

Chloe Bonamici is Assistant Professor in Geoscience at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research integrates geochemistry, petrology, and structural geology to investigate deep-Earth processes using microanalytical techniques.

Research focuses on fluid migration in crustal systems, mineral deformation mechanisms, and geospeedometry. Current projects include zircon melt inclusion analysis, footwall hydration below detachment faults, and Hadean geochemistry. The Bonamici Lab employs SIMS, EBSD, and microprobe analysis complemented by field mapping.

She advises graduate students on projects involving ice crystallography, Proterozoic deformation, and ore deposit formation.
