Chiyuma Elliott is Professor of English at Case Western Reserve University, specializing in African American literature with focus on the Harlem Renaissance. Her interdisciplinary scholarship bridges poetry, literary criticism, and classical reception studies.
She is the author of multiple poetry collections including Blue in Green (2021) and the forthcoming monograph The Rural Harlem Renaissance. As co-host of the Old-School podcast, she examines intersections between African American studies and classical traditions.
