Chisomo Selemani

Chisomo Selemani is an Associate Professor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) program at Baldwin Wallace University. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses, including Introduction to Communication Disorders, Speech-language Development, and co-teaches the Integrations series bridging theory and practice in speech-language pathology. As a clinical supervisor, she provides speech therapy services in the BW Speech Clinic and outreach programs.

Her research focuses on literacy acquisition among children in low socio-economic contexts, multilingualism and English literacy development, and language/literacy growth in multilingual children in Zambia, Africa. She has presented at local, national, and international conferences, including the East African International Conference on Communication Disability.
