Her research focuses on Educational Philosophy, History of Thought, and Integrated Learning, with particular emphasis on John Dewey's educational philosophy and pragmatism. Dr. Fujii has published extensively on Dewey's concepts of experience, meliorism, and community-building through education. Her work bridges theoretical philosophy with practical classroom applications, especially in integrated learning approaches, face-to-face communication in educational settings, and community-based pedagogy. She examines how philosophical concepts can be translated into practical teaching methods that foster students' holistic development and qualification building.
Her publications demonstrate a consistent focus on the practical application of educational philosophy, with recent works exploring integrated learning practices, Dewey's vision of community, and the development of students' qualifications through inquiry-based approaches. The articles show a progression from theoretical examinations of Dewey's philosophy to increasingly practical applications in contemporary educational settings.
