Charles S. (Chick) Weiss, Ph.D., served as an Associate Professor of Psychology at the College of the Holy Cross from 1975 until his retirement in 2016. He held leadership roles, including Department Chair (1984–1989), Coordinator of Grants and Research, Director of the Office of Grants and Corporate and Foundation Giving, and Director of Strategic Initiatives. Weiss was instrumental in securing major infrastructure projects, such as the $64 million science building and a performing arts facility. He is now an Associate Professor Emeritus, and the Weiss Summer Research Program is named in his honor.
