Chiara Laici

Chiara Laici is an Associate Professor of Didactics and Special Pedagogy at the University of Macerata's Department of Educational Sciences, Cultural Heritage and Tourism. She specializes in feedback mechanisms, digital learning ecosystems, and teacher professionalization. As contact person for the E-learning Area, she leads research on integrating technology in education through projects like DEVICES and AI&F. Her work focuses on dialogic feedback, AI-driven assessment, and innovative teaching practices.

Research interests include: feedback in higher education, screen-mediated teaching, and teacher training. She co-leads the TIncTec and CIRDIFOR research groups and collaborates with SIPED, SIREM, and ITLN societies.

Recent publications explore hybrid AI/human analysis of teacher technology use, peer feedback in active learning, and formative assessment using AI tools. She teaches courses like 'Technologies of Instruction and Learning' and 'Laboratory of Educational Technologies.'
