Chiara Cristofolini is an Associate Professor of Labour Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Trento. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative and European Legal Studies (2018) and a Master’s in Law (2013), both from the University of Trento. Her research focuses on comparative labour law, trade union democracy, financial innovation in welfare policies, and sustainable employment practices. She has held visiting research positions at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Brunel University London, and Technische Universität Dresden.
Her academic career includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2018–2022) and Assistant Professor (since 2022). She leads the Research Unit for the PRIN 2022 PNRR ‘TELOS’ project on transparency in labour markets. She has co-investigated EU-funded initiatives, including the ‘Financial Innovation for Active Welfare Policies’ and ‘Going up the High Road’ projects, emphasizing social dialogue and competitiveness.
