Chiara Garbuio

Chiara Garbuio is a Fixed-Term Researcher (RTDa) at Ca' Foscari University of Venice in the Department of Economics, where she has worked since January 2022. Previously, she was a Research Fellow at the same department from March 2019 to December 2021. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Law, Market and Person (2015-2019) with a thesis on conditionality in labor policies, a Master's in Labor and Social Security Law (2013-2014), and a Master's in Law from the University of Udine (2011).

Recent publications include a monograph on Labor Policies and Conditionality (2023) and articles analyzing digitalization in labor markets, social safety nets for self-employment, and collective bargaining frameworks. She contributes to academic discourse through presentations at conferences like the International Conference Adapt and seminars in comparative labor law.

Garbuio supervises undergraduate and graduate theses on topics including labor market law, technological innovation, and welfare policies, while engaging in academic networks such as the Labor Law Community (LLC) and AIDLaSS.
