Chiara Alina Tobisch is a Doctoral Researcher at Kiel University's Marine Geophysics and Hydroacoustics department since January 2024, funded by the DFG. She holds an M.Sc. in Geophysics (2023) and a B.Sc. in Physics (2021) from Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg.

Her research focuses on high-resolution seismic profiling and hydroacoustic methods to study the East Antarctic Ice Sheet's response to climate variability. She investigates local seismicity near Neumayer Station and applies Particle Streak Velocimetry (PSV) for fluid dynamics analysis.
