Chi Lo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Macquarie University's Department of Linguistics, with affiliations to the Australian Institute of Health Innovation and the Hearing CRC Honorary Research Fellow program. His research focuses on the intersection of music perception, hearing loss, cochlear implants, and psychosocial wellbeing in children and adults. A 3-Minute Thesis Finalist and guest speaker at the Sydney Science Festival, Lo advocates for open access education and serves as Secretary for Parents of Deaf Children, a non-profit organization. He also founded a Science Camp for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
