Chi King Lee

Professor Chi King Lee is a full Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the School of Engineering & IT, University of New South Wales (UNSW) Canberra, Australia, a position he has held since June 2015. Prior to this, he served at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, as Lecturer (1998–2000), Assistant Professor (2000–2001), and Associate Professor (2002–2015). He earned his PhD from Imperial College London in 1996, with earlier degrees from the University of Hong Kong.

His research spans:

• Structural and numerical engineering
• Sustainable construction materials (e.g., green concrete, ECC)
• Protective engineering (blast, impact, progressive collapse)
• Steel structures and integrated sustainable design
