Dr. Chi Hieu Le is an Associate Professor at the University of Greenwich's School of Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He holds multiple degrees including a DrEng from the University of Greenwich and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (MIMechE). With 12 years of prior experience at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Cardiff University, he has led over 150 R&D projects internationally.
His research spans innovative product development, advanced manufacturing (including CAD/CAM/CNC, 3D printing, micro-nano manufacturing), robotics, engineering management, and biomedical engineering. His work also extends to telehealth, medical image processing, and personalized implants.
His recent publications focus on advanced manufacturing techniques, Industry 4.0 implementation, and healthcare technology innovations. Article trends show consistent emphasis on computational modeling and practical engineering applications.
Dr. Le is active in innovation and entrepreneurship, serving on advisory boards for Saigon Hi-Tech Park and Vingroup Innovation Foundation. He co-founded the Vietnam-UK Network of Higher Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, securing over $5 million in external funding.
