Dr. Cheryl Fergerson is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Social Work at the University of Mississippi, based at the Tupelo Campus. She holds a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Capella University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Memphis. Her research focuses on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), pediatric hospice care, and psychosocial supports for vulnerable populations, particularly adults with cognitive disabilities involved in child welfare systems.
