Cheri Deng

Cheri Deng is a Professor at the University of Michigan, jointly affiliated with the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Her research focuses on biomedical ultrasound technologies, including ultrasound-mediated drug and gene delivery, high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation for cardiac arrhythmias, and quantitative ultrasound imaging for pancreatic cancer detection. She leads the Deng Lab, which receives funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and other agencies.
