Chera Kee is an Associate Professor of Film & Media Studies and Director of Graduate Studies at Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Department of English. She specializes in horror studies, zombie media, and pop culture analysis with a focus on race, gender, and adaptation.
Her research includes seminal works like Corpse Crusaders: The Zombie in American Comics (2024) and Not Your Average Zombie (2017).
