Cheon Seung-hyeon

Professor Cheon Seung-hyeon serves in the Department of Physics at Sejong University, leading the Spin Electronics Laboratory focused on advanced materials research.

His research centers on two-dimensional transport phenomena with expertise in:

• Condensed Matter Physics
• Spin Electronics
• Graphene synthesis and characterization
• Topological insulator systems
• Material growth via Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE)
• Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) techniques

The laboratory operates specialized equipment including ultra-high vacuum MBE systems for precision material synthesis and PECVD reactors for graphene production.
