Professor Choi Du-young serves in the Department of Film Arts and Department of Directing and Production at Sejong University, with his office and laboratory located in Gwanggaeto Hall, Room 1202 (designated as Gwang1202).
His research encompasses critical areas of cinematic practice and theory:
- Feature film planning and development
- Screenwriting techniques and narrative structures
- Film production methodologies
- Film directing approaches
- Experimental film aesthetics
- Documentary filmmaking practices
