Chengzhi Zhang is a doctoral research student and seminar tutor at the Department of Politics, University of Manchester. He is affiliated with the Critical Global Politics (CGP) research cluster and the Manchester China Institute (MCI), where he serves as a postgraduate research affiliate and leading convenor of the Postgraduate Researcher Workshop. His academic supervisors are Dr. Elena Barabantseva and Prof. Bridget Byrne.
