Dr. Cheng Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rowan University, affiliated with the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware, an M.Sc. and B.Eng. from South China University of Technology, and completed postdoctoral research at Princeton University. His research focuses on coastal hazards, climate change impacts, and AI-driven solutions for infrastructure resilience. He leads the Coastal Hazards Lab, emphasizing AI-enhanced tools for coastal risk assessment and mitigation.
