Dr. Cheng Wang is a Research Fellow at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW), with expertise in computational fluid dynamics, multiphase flow, fire/combustion modeling, and renewable energy. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2020), an ME (Research) (2016), and a BE (2012), all from UNSW.
Research Interests: His work spans
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
- Multiphase flow modeling for energy and combustion applications
- Fire and combustion dynamics, including soot formation/destruction
- Flame retardant materials
- Photovoltaic devices and thermal processes in renewable energy
