Chelsea Wooding

Chelsea Wooding serves as an Assistant Professor in the Psychology department at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, teaching Sport and Performance Psychology courses.

Her research focuses on:

• Nontraditional Applications: Extending sport psychology principles to nursing students, musicians, dancers, ultra-runners, and corporate clients beyond traditional athletics
• Professional Development: Addressing ethical considerations and training standards for mental performance consultants

As a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, she applies expertise across NCAA Division I/III collegiate sports, high school athletics, and non-athletic performance domains.

Dr. Wooding actively mentors graduate students in sport psychology professional development while maintaining active consultation practice across diverse performance settings.
